The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing represents an exciting evolution in the way we train our workforce. For the first time, employers can take control of the design and delivery of learning in their industry, working in partnership with government and top training providers, from both the public and private sectors.

The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing is dedicated to working with UK manufacturers to deliver an independent national standard for manufacturing training content, advice and delivery.  All training solutions developed and accredited by The Skills Academy possess the badge of quality against these national standards.  The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing brand is a safeguard against poor training and a beacon for security for manufacturing employers. 

There are three components recognised to ensure that training has the biggest impact leading to a greater sustained impact on both productivity and profitability, preparation, delivery and follow-through.  All National Skills Academy for Manufacturing programmes are designed around this framework.
